Float into your Saturday night at the Brunswick Artist Bar with the ambient tones of Minimae, be spellbound by the entrancing Buchla tones of Wizard (formed by Mu Gen & Cosmic Sound Explorer), start the dancing feet tapping with Marcus Newman dub tech beats, get swallowed by the hypnotic rhythms of Naca, and finish the night with some bangers as Mr. Rachele joins forces with Death Of Socrates.
TSP's third outing of the year, back in out original venue, the Brunswick Artist Bar with Elaktronic 02! We pride ourselves on presenting a multi genre night of all live hardware electronic music. Electronic music and the rave scene was born of inclusion and that is what TSP is all about. To spread the love of live electronic music and the artists that create it. Multi genre night so expect to start chilled and work your way onto the dance floor.

Live hardware acts on the night:
Minimae is an experimental artist with an affinity for synthesis. Once described as a hidden gem of Melbourne's ambient scene, they are a regular at events such as Hear The Machine and Signals. Forever evolving; her practice has recently shifted into darker territory with echoes of internet microgenres, as well as sci-fi horror flair.
Minimae’s heavily processed electronics, vocals, and sampled material serve as an exploration of internal fragility, capturing & creating a presence for the intangible.
Marcus Newman is live electronic music artist. Obsessed with radio shows on KISS FM in the late 90’s he obtained a healthy appetite for all things techno. His education at Media Arts RMIT introduced him to a wide range of sonic explorations influencing his current style. His energetic improvised live performances create unique compositions heavily focused on getting the dance floor moving. His progressive style blends elements of acid house and techno using analogue and digital synths.
Wizard aka Mu Gen & Cosmic Sound Explorer
Brett's (Mu Gen) research explores the relationship between creativity, technology and musical practice. Drawing on artistic research, emerging technologies and experimental composition, he investigates new ways of creating, performing and experiencing music. His current work focuses on cybernetics, emergence and Proximity Composition, an original compositional methodology that explores musical form in which the environment becomes an intentional component of the composition itself.
From Cosmic Sound Explorer intergalactic vibrations for the Mind, Body and Soul. Exploring the endless cosmos of sound and healing frequencies through modular synthesis. Speaking to nature, calming the mind, moving the body and singing to the soul. Stories unfold as tones and textures weave the soundtracks of your imagination.

Death of Socrates has been spinning on the decks for years as part of the Melbourne Techno Collective. He is now branching out into live hardware.
Mr. Rachele is a live techno artist who embraces an improvisational approach with his hardware. His sound has a melodic driving quality informed by his modular synth manipulations, and drum machine patterns, all purely techno. Think of luxury 1990s Euro-techno meal served with lashings of futuristic textures and rhythms, and you might be close! All his music in and out of the studio is based on his love of live jamming on modular synthesizers, hardware drum machines, samplers, and hard-wired synthesizers.
