The Signal Path was created to spread the love of live hardware electronic music and the artists that create that music from Naarm. We have our third outing as we head back to where it all started, Brunswick Artist Bar.

Rayhan Sudrajat the experimental electronic virtuoso on the modular synth will start the night, then Flud will get the body swaying to some house beats, then into some faster critter forest tunes with the live hardware debut of Caity Watson, followed by another semi debut (first one hour long set) from Raw Saul taking you into solid creative beats (techno/progressive house) and for the final hour the experimental techno duo Linkage consisting of Lincoln Webber & Mr. Rachele blend hard groove, glitch and lashes of sound to round the night off.

To begin the night, Rayhan Sudrajat the experimental electronic virtuoso on the modular synth takes you on a journey through sound. Flud will then get your body grooving to some house beats. The debut solo live set of Caity Watson will treat us to some original sounds with critter forest tunes. Followed by a semi debut (first one hour long set) from Raw Saul taking you into solid creative beats with his style of techno/progressive house. Finally the experimental techno duo Linkage made up of Lincoln Webber & Mr. Rachele blend hard groove, glitch and lashes of sound to round the night off.

Visual artist on the night is Baked Cassettes. Expect immersive visuals that fuse nostalgic textures with atmospheric, evolving digital imagery.

Our live hardware acts:

Caity Watson - https://linktr.ee/caitywatson

Surreal and tangible, defiant yet dependable, Caity blends deep, hypnotic techno, hard groove, tribe/tekno, trance and pure dark psychedelia. With a background in formal music study and two decades of professional guitar work, her sets are instinctual yet technically sharp. They are reliable, feminine, spooky and danceable across all BPMs. Following her ‘All Night Long’ headline show at Headquarters in Singapore and several headline appearances across Australia (Black Noir in Sydney, Nexus in QLD and multiple across VIC), she has become a staple in the underground techno circuit. A resident with Anomalie Collective and Beaufort Beats, and a regular DJ amongst Naarm’s iconic nightclubs, she is equally devoted to underground raves and secret spaces where niche communities thrive.

Founder of '150 BPM' and '150% Live', Caitys events platform FLINTA* and live hardware artists. Her events are intentional, inclusive and community-focused, built on connection and music with purpose.

Rayhan Sudrajat - https://linktr.ee/rayhansudrajat

Rayhan Sudrajat is an ethnomusicologist, modular synthesist, and PhD researcher at the University of Melbourne whose work sits at the intersection of research and performance. Combining modular synthesis, voice, sape, and influences from Southeast Asian musical traditions, he explores sound as a medium of memory, migration, and cultural connection. His performances weave together electronic textures, fieldwork experiences, and traditional sonic knowledge to create immersive listening environments that move between past and present, homeland and diaspora.

Flud - https://www.instagram.com/flud_the_floor/

With a recent move from Boorloo to Naarm, Ewan Jansen has brought with him, a once private world to life; as FLUD. It’s an amphibious, rhythmical 90-minute story of complex organic-electronic landscapes with a dynamic, progressing edge. Notorious as a bedroom House music producer and label operator of 25 years, FLUD distills a wide array of influences into a live-only experience.

Raw Saul - https://www.instagram.com/rossecosse/

Ross has been making music for robots for 25 years. Fruity Loops was fun until a random purchase of a Mini-Kaoss pad, spurned an addiction to hardware gear. Techno and progressive house have always been the backbone of it all, but no genre is left out; a groove is a groove. Ross also had a monthly DJ show on Fnoob Techno Radio for over ten years. Delivering 2 hours of techno for nearly 150 shows on a 4 deck hardware controller running only loops and stems. Never one for the limelight he was happy making music for the simple joy of it until he met some like-minded locals who convinced him to give it a go in the real world. And so, Raw Saul was born.

Linkage - https://www.instagram.com/linkage_techno_duo/

Lincoln Webber & Mr. Rachele have shared stages for many years, each developing their own approach to live hardware Techno. Shaped by the Naarm rave scene of the late '90s and early 2000s, both began honing their craft during that era. Following an impromptu set at a friend's birthday party, the pair joined forces, resulting in a duo that draws on their shared love of old school Techno while continuing to push into new territory. Expect driving grooves, improvisation, and a sound rooted in the music that first brought them to the dance floor.
