Roland present TR-1000 - Artist T3J.

Date: 7th of October, 6-30 to 9pm @ Howler

Why did we delay the meet Age? So that we can host Roland!

Binofski will be giving us a live jam demo, explain its features and be around to answer all your questions about the new flagship analogue drum machine, the mighty TR-1000.

TR-1000 Rhythm Creator is ground breaking new drum machine built with and for artists to catalyze the next evolution of rhythm culture. As the latest member of the famous TR lineage, the TR-1000 builds on the legacy of the TR-808 and TR-909 as the first Roland drum machine in over 40 years with true analog voices, coupled with the latest digital sound and sampling technologies and a performance-focused user interface.

From the speaker-rattling boom of the TR-808 to the distinctive punch of the TR-909, Roland’s original TR rhythm instruments from the early 1980shavefueled the ambitions of generations of music makers. First embraced by underground creators, TR sounds are now deeply embedded in modern music, forming the backbone of hip-hop and trap, the pulse of techno and house, and the foundational grooves for contemporary pop songs across every genre.

After the demo our live artist on the night is T3J is back from his time in Berlin to share his love of live techno with Naarm once again. He has a RE-909 in his set-up so that will be an interesting comparison for us all.

6:30-7:30pm - Synth share and meet.
